Freedom Outreach exists to fulfill what Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew 25:34-37
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father,
inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.
36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me.
I was in prison, and you visited me.’
We provide prayer, direction, and assistance to individuals who are trying to get back on their feet and
re-establish themselves as productive members in our community. We strive to help those in need find
temporary housing, work, transportation and the basic necessities of life, under the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

FREEDOM FOURSQUARE PAST

In February of 2003, Freedom Foursquare Gospel Church was a new church plant in the inner city of Las Vegas.
We had our first church service inside a musical instrument rental store where they also operated
a rehearsal studio. They offered the studio to us on Sundays to plant our church free of charge!
We were blessed to grow the church from 5 to 50 in our first year. My wife and I learned quickly the
dynamics of the type of church our Lord Jesus needed us to minister in as we followed His directions
and stayed the path. We worked with the poor, destitute, homeless, individuals with all manner of
addictions, the mentally challenged, demon possessed and eventually those incarcerated in the
Clark County Detention Center (CCDC). The Las Vegas Inner City atmosphere had blossomed
God’s new ministry, Freedom Outreach, out of Freedom Foursquare Gospel Church.
In February of 2006 I received a call from an inmate’s sister who happened to attend a Foursquare
Church in New Jersey. Before that call was over, I was parked in front of CCDC ready to enter in
to comply with what turned out to be very complex policies and procedures as I visited her brother.
But we serve a powerful God, and from that one phone call He opened doors for Freedom Outreach to
share the Gospel with those incarcerated, simply by my agreement to visit one inmate. CCDC has as
many as 3500 to 3800 male and female inmates on any given day.
Prior to this first phone call, I had no experience in visiting anyone who was incarcerated, so I asked the
caller how she found our little church, out of all the hundreds in Las Vegas. Her response was simple:
“your church address was the closest to CCDC!” Of course, I was only thinking of visiting this one man, one time.
God had other plans! It was at that moment I heard God’s voice say to me "this is where I need you".
This is when I began describing these unexpected events as 'phone calls from heaven'.
And there have been many more since.

FREEDOM FOURSQUARE PRESENT

Since that first visit God has allowed me to lead over 300 inmates to Jesus. I have counseled with over
2,000 inmates and not quite as many of their family members. Our office at CCDC will distribute over 4,500
bibles in one year's time. We will also distribute 1,500 copies of Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, and more
than 5000 pieces of literature, written by such authors as Kenneth Copeland, Merlin Carothers and Billy Graham.
Every Christmas our Chaplains' office at CCDC will purchase and distribute approximately 4,000 Christian based
Christmas cards to inmates (two per inmate request). The inmate writes their message in the card, returns it
to us and we buy the stamps and mail the cards to families across the country. We estimate that with this one
project we will share the gospel with at least 12,000 deeply emotionally concerned family members during
one of our most celebrated holidays, the birth of Jesus Christ.
I am forever grateful to have Deacon Bonnie Polley from Christ Episcopal Church and her 25 years as Chaplain,
as my mentor at CCDC. Through her dedication and hard work she has planted, fed and watered the harvest
field at CCDC and lives will forever be changed. I am honored to follow in her footsteps to experience the fruit of her labor.
Within the walls of CCDC, I personally will share the gospel at 12 to 14 Simple Church Services (bible studies)
a week, and we also oversee an additional 35 services weekly. God’s hand is moving mightily; where there
has been hopelessness, He gives Hope freely and generously.
In November of 2007, as God continued to expand the outreach ministry at CCDC, we merged Freedom
Foursquare with another foursquare church, Grapevine Fellowship. Grapevine had their Food Bank up and running
when we joined forces with them, and Freedom Outreach was working to help develop
other Food Banks in the city of Las Vegas.
Another non-profit organization, ironically called Three Square, opened their doors to all the faith based and
non-profit organizations in Las Vegas with their vision to eliminate hunger in this city, based on the premise of three
square meals a day. Joining all the needs and contacts of Freedom Outreach with the Food Bank at Grapevine,
the distribution has quadrupled in just 4 months.
Three Square has given over 1,700,000 (1.7 Million) pounds of food in just five months. They are able to release
this food at a handling charge of just $0.09 per pound. We can purchase one ton of food at a cost of $180.00. This
does not count the perishables such as produce and breads that they give us at no charge!

FREEDOM FOURSQUARE FUTURE

As part of our ministry, it is our desire to help other churches in our valley establish similar outreach
programs to help those who are in need, even as our own efforts continue to grow and expand, branching
out into new areas of community service as the Holy Spirit directs us.
A second Foursquare Church on the west side of Las Vegas has opened up their Food Bank, and there are
two others waiting to create the necessary systems in their churches; one is located in the south area of Las Vegas
and the other in the north part of the city. Our food bank is on the east side of Las Vegas and we believe, in the
near future, other Foursquare churches in Las Vegas will be on board in eliminating hunger and serving hope,
which is Three Squares motto. We are also working with non-denominational and multi-cultural churches
in assisting them with the development of food banks.
The information that is made available on the Freedom Outreach website has taken two years to accumulate,
while assisting and ministering to the needy and poor in spirit both in and out of CCDC. We have placed all
of the agencies, employment help opportunities and assistance ministries we have crossed paths with, in our
journey to the front lines of the battlefield. The resources change frequently, but they have helped us to accomplish
the task of aiding the multitude in what is known throughout the world as Sin City! Unfortunately,
most of these help services are not free of charge.
We would appreciate your prayers as we continue fighting the good fight and taking the Kingdom of Heaven by force.
We ask that you would pray about helping us financially. The needs are overwhelming, and God has sustained us,
meeting the needs of this ministry often through the tax deductible donations from people like you. We feel He is ready
to take Freedom Outreach to another level. That has certainly happened with our Faith. Now we believe in an increased
financial support base that will stay with us for God's expansion plan for this ministry, as we continue this complex, difficult,
